BEDROOM REMODEL

On This job the homeowners were not happy with the height of the ceiling in there Master Bedroom. It was about 6" 7". We removed the ceiling joists, depth was added to rafters with 2"x6" lumber being attached with case hardened structural screws. Gussets were added at ridge. A small surport wall was also built. Insulation baffles were installed along with new wiring, lighting fixtures, and cable for TV was rerouted. Then R-30 insulation was installed in ceiling, and walls had insulation upgrades. Drywall was installed, finished, primed and painted. A new ceiling fan was installed. The new TV was wall mounted. A custom oak and walnut bookcase was made. The closet was also reconfigured using matching oak and walnut. Carpet was installed at a later date. Hopefully, a picture will be added at a later date. Owners have told us that HVAC is now working much better now due to improved insulation in walls and ceiling.

BATHROOM EXPANSION & REMODEL

This was another total gut job. Extra space was gained from the closet in the adjoining bedroom. Rough-in for toilet and lavatory had to be moved. Ceiling joists were removed and was ceiling raised on angle, to let light from new skylight spill into room. The electric skylight is programable, and shuts automatically at first hint of rain. Sound proofing, insulation, wiring, lighting, and proper ventilation were all redone. Moisture resistant drywall was installed and finished. An electric heat mat was installed under tile floor. Matching quartz was used for the lavatory, shower curb, and shampoo nook. Custom shower, with diverter for hand held shower, and shower head. A custom plate glass  shower door was installed to finish off this top notch bathroom.
