MASTERBATH REMODEL

This bathroom was in dire need of an update. The paint was peeling off the ceiling due to the poor ventilation. Bench in shower was at wrong end. All in all dated, as well as feeling very small. The bathroom was gutted, ceiling raised, and walls and ceiling properly insulated. While ceiling was open, fiberglass was blown into attic to raise R value above 40. A solar powered Velux skylight was installed to add lots of natrual light. In shower area, a Kedri system was used behind tile as well as an oversized exhaust fan vented to outside of house. A heated floor was installed for a toasty warm floor. Ceiling lighting, is LED dimmable. Matching granite was used for curbs and bench in shower, lavatory top, as well as the threshold coming into bathroom. Custom glass enclosure was treated with Cardinal 10 surface protection.
