On this job the old Pergola was taken down due to the fact is was built with the wrong materials and was rotting out. Concrete needed to be cut out and new peir footers poured where posts for roof would be located. New roof and ceiling were framed up. Rubber roof was tied into old shingle roof. The whole project was done with materials that are maintance free.

STAIRCASE

On this job there were stones installed on the stair risers, making for a real tripping hazard. Also, flooring was used instead of proper treads on each of the steps. There was a fair amount of prep work to be done on the skirt boards. Plywood templates were used to get stair treads just right. New painted risers and Brazilian Cherry treads were installed, and this looks like a brand new stairway again.

FRONT PORCH AND RAILINGS

This porch was neglected over the years and needed some TLC. All the old decking, framing, posts and rails were removed. An oil tank was removed from underneath the porch. New framing was installed, and composite tounge and groove decking installed. Trim boards were also made of composite material for a matainence free exterior. The old beam was wraped with PVC coated coil stock. New posts and rails were installed. All in all a new deck dressed this old house up nicely.
